Frequently Asked Questions
I see some cabins only provide starter packs, what do you provide?
We strive to make your stay as easy as possible; therefore, you will find enough of the following items to last the duration of your stay:
- Shampoo, Conditioner and Body Wash – these are in a triple dispenser in each shower
- Toilet Paper, Q-tips and Make-up Remover Wipes
- Hand Soap, Dish Soap, Dishwasher Detergent, Washing Machine Detergent & Dryer Sheets
- Basic H (an all-purpose cleaner), Basic G (a germicide) and a few other cleaners like laundry stain remover
- Garbage Bags and Paper Towels
- A small tote of "forgot me" items for those essentials you might forget like toothpaste
What do I need to bring with me?
See the above question. We provide as many of the essentials as possible including coffee, tea, sugar and creamer. Bring your own groceries, or if you want groceries delivered when you arrive, contact us to help you set that up.
We provide all the linens and towels, including pool towels for the pool and hot tubs. (Please do not use our bath towels for the pool or hot tub. Pool towels are specifically provided for this.)
Pack for the weather, knowing that you can also do laundry while staying at the cabin.
If you want assistance getting anything special delivered during your stay, don’t hesitate to ask. We are happy to help make your stay as perfect as possible.
Yes, we offer several concierge services, not just grocery delivery.
- For grocery delivery, you pick from a list of stores and place your order on-line. The groceries are delivered, put away in the fridge and cabinets and the garbage is removed. Bonus is that your order can include alcohol. And for a small upcharge, you can even add fresh bakery or hot meal pick-ups for delivery with your groceries.
- Just want the convenience of a grocery pick-up order. Here are some options: Super Walmart in Newport and Food City or Kroger in Sevierville.
- We also offer special occasion decorating including a honeymoon/anniversary, birthday, graduation and retirement packages.
- Speaking of special occasions or maybe you just need to relax and recharge while on vacation. We have a traveling massage therapist who will come to the cabin for services! And they have hundreds of 5 star reviews.
- Or maybe you want to capture your special occasion with professional pictures. Danielle has a gift of capturing that moment. You can find her at: Awaken Photography
- And perhaps my personal favorite, we offer a personal chef! He brings all the ingredients and cooks you a 3 or 4-course meal including a soup, salad or appetizer followed by the entrée served with 2 sides followed by the dessert. He has many choices from standard chicken and beef to seafood and farm-raised rabbit.
Questions about any of these services, please contact me directly.
Can I check-in early or check-out late?
We can occasionally accommodate early arrival or late departure for a nominal fee. Contact us to see if it is available for your stay.
When is the pool at Graceful Goat open and is it heated?
We anticipate having the pool at Graceful Goat Adventure Cabin open from May 1st until December 1st. It does have a heater, but due to the naturally warm weather and automatic pool cover, we anticipate not needing to heat most of the months of the year (approximately June - October). Heating can be used during the cooler months.
Is the pool chlorinated or saltwater?
The pool at Graceful Goat Adventure Cabin is saltwater. Saltwater pools have many health benefits including:
Saltwater is more gentle on the eyes and skin and is a natural moisturizer and exfoliator, increasing our skin’s ability to retain moisture.
It helps promote our body’s natural relaxation process leaving us feeling refreshed after each swim.
It contains bromide, a mineral that helps relieve those everyday aches, pains and soreness we all feel deep within our joints and muscles.
We're sure you'll enjoy our saltwater pool.
Are you pet friendly?
Yes, we allow up to two dogs to be brought with on your stay with us at either of our cabins. We ask that only well-behaved dogs are brought and that they be crated when left unattended. The crate at Ridge Top Adventure Cabin is 42"L x 27"W x 29"H. The crate at Graceful Goat Adventure Cabin is 30"L x 19"W x 21"H. The crate at Flying Squirrel Mountain Retreat is approximately 36"Lx24"W. The crate at Heavenly Heights Mountain Retreat is 36"L x 23"W x 25"H. We also provide several other pet amenities such as dog bowls, blankets, leash, poop bags and treats. We want to make sure your fur baby feels at home as well.
(Please note that animals are not allowed in the pool or hot tubs. If your animal is in the pool, your security deposit will not be refunded.)
Can I take my dog with me hiking on the trails in the Great Smoky Mountain National Park?
